Task

I need a site in dark design with big beautiful blocks, with articles and files of updates and animations that I use in my videos to share with my subscribers.

Description

Of course, I started with design, made a template where all the important blocks of the site were collected. After the template was approved, I set to work on the design itself, picked up the color scheme and came up with several interesting elements on the site, which I will talk about a little later.

Then I got into the code, this time I tried to use the React external JavaScript library, which makes it possible to create a fast web interface and renders only those components in which data changes occur.

The structure of the site consisted of:

• An article page displaying the latest news from the YouTube channel.
• Updates and animations pages where zip archives of animations for minecraft were collected and could be downloaded by site users.
• A video page that collects the top 10 most viewed videos on the channel. To do this, I had to deal with YouTube API.
• A fanart page where the channel's community could upload their work for everyone to see.
• And of course the merch, I left it for the end since the merch was located on another resource and I just put links to it.

Back to those interesting elements in the design, these were two great animations that created the atmosphere on the site and made it unique and alive. I think you should see them. I am very glad that I managed to create and animate a squid from Minecraft.

I made this site with my brother, who was responsible for the admin panel, database and API, so I am grateful to him for helping to create this site. A few more nuances that we have developed on the site. These are the comments and likes that people could leave under the news and fanart, which made it possible to connect users with each other on this platform.

It was a complex, large but very interesting project that we successfully completed and released.
